Idea Behind Our Application
Hara Bhara Pakistan is a digital initiative that aims to drive the nation towards a greener and more sustainable future by uniting individuals, schools, businesses, and communities under the common goal of planting more indigenous trees in their respective capacities.
Through our app, we track and consolidate the plantation efforts of new and existing actors scattered across the country, seeking to illustrate the impact of collective action. The simplicity of the app’s plant and snap model serves to welcome and encourage inexperienced participants to plant native species as per the recommendations of Pakistan’s horticulture experts.
Coupled with our ground mobilisation of students and collaboration with environmental experts, Hara Bhara Pakistan is set to lead the charge towards the UN-recommended 12% forest cover in Pakistan.
Geo Tagging
Take a picture of every tree, tag it’s geolocation, and name it with three random words.
Name the Location
Identify the sq. meter tile with its respective GPS coordinates and name with three random words.
Plant Age
Save the plant age from the beginning and update its health through the contributing account.
Identify Plants
List of all trees recommended by experts city, area, and district-wise.
Machine Learning
Machine learning will only allow user to upload images of trees into the application, automatically rejecting other images.
Reminders
Set reminders to look after planted trees periodically and notify user to take action when needed.
Register your Organisation
Register your organisation and record your movement along with others. Multiple users can register under the same organisation and record their effort with in app under the name of master organisation.
